A Chinese Brush Painter since the age of sixteen. Dick Yat Ng, was a student of the well-known Chinese artist Ko Kim Fu. Dick graduated from the Municipal Art College of Canton where he was awarded first place in the Chinese landscape paintings category.


Dick was a professional Chinese brush painter in Hong Kong for ten years. He offered private traditional Chinese brush painting lessons to adults. Dick specialized in painting Chinese landscapes, birds, and flowers.


In the 1960s, he held several exhibitions in San Francisco's Chinatown which were featured in a major Chinese newspaper, Chinese Times. He sold his paintings and prints at Fisherman's Wharf in San Francisco on Beach Street between Hyde and Larkin Street for over 30 years. Recently, his work was selected to be auctioned at KVIE Art Auction. The auction was televised on September 24, 2010. This auction was viewed by 28-county in California. It is the largest boardcast art gallery in California.
